"Mom, there are so many fish! Can we keep little goldfish at home?"
Emma Smith patted his head: "In a few days, when we go back to Swallow City, Mom will buy you little goldfish, okay?"
"Going back to Swallow City?" Thomas Smith was still young and didn't have a strong concept of what home was, but he was happy to think about having friends in kindergarten to play with.
"Yes, yes." He immediately nodded, "When I return to Leaves Kindergarten, I'll tell my friends that Tommy found his dad! And, I also have Uncle Thomson!"
As he spoke, it seemed like he realized he put "finding his dad" first and Uncle Thomson last, would this cause Robert Thomson to dislike him?
The little fellow quickly held Robert Thomson's hand to please him: "Uncle Thomson takes me to feed the goldfish and play. No one else has ever seen so many, such big goldfish!"
Robert Thomson patted his head, probably knowing the biggest obstacle to marrying Emma Smith and bringing her home was this child.
