Robert Thomson frowned, not knowing why, but his mood was somewhat stifled. He took a few steps forward, concealing the discontent on his face, and pushed open the door: "Emma."
As he entered the room, the laughter inside immediately stopped.
He saw Thomas Smith and Emma Smith sitting on the edge of the bed, playing with building blocks. Maybe they were toys Thomas had brought from Mrs. Smith's house in a package. Emma handed Thomas a red block, and he placed it at the top of the tower. But then, Robert burst in, and the castle suddenly collapsed with a "whoosh."
Seeing the tower of blocks that he and his mom had worked so hard to build collapse, Thomas felt a little upset. However, he didn't cry; he just lowered his head and looked unhappy.
Emma, of course, also noticed her son's feelings. She wouldn't blame Robert, but she just helped Thomas rebuild the tower and asked, "Robert, what's wrong?"
Seeing her attitude, Robert's heart immediately cooled down halfway.
