"Tommy, Tommy, don't worry! Don't worry!" Emma Smith panicked, watching the little guy's arms and legs flailing, and tears flowed in his clear, big eyes. The intravenous needle that was originally in the back of his hand was dislodged by his struggle, and Emma couldn't get him to calm down.
"Tommy wants Daddy! Why won't you give Tommy his Daddy?" Though Thomas was usually sensible and cute, he was still just a four-year-old child. Even if he never mentioned his mother's scars - which were Tommy's dad - it didn't mean he didn't yearn to see his father!
Especially since he had just experienced a major disaster. If it hadn't been for Dylan King's excellent medical skills, he would have died on the operating table!
But, Thomas's disease was special - he had heart problems!
