Dr. Edwards slowed down his pace, noticing that Doctor Lee looked back at him and nodded, indicating for him to go first.
"Work is busy, but you still need to come home for dinner, huh? Come back tonight, just the two of us," Paul Edwards said with slight concern, hinting that there was no one else at home.
"I'll try to arrange the time," Dr. Edwards said evasively, his voice somewhat cold.
"What do you mean arrange time? To have dinner with your dad?" Paul Edwards was growing angry, his tone rising slightly, speaking discontentedly.
"I just performed surgery yesterday, and the patient had a rejection reaction today. I have to monitor the patient's postoperative condition to avoid any danger," Dr. Edwards rubbed his temple, his voice still cold.
