Hearing her say this, Robert Thomson nodded: "In that case, I'll wait for you in the cafeteria. What would you like to eat?"
"Soy milk and fried dough sticks will do." She casually replied. Robert nodded, and they went their separate ways.
Emma Smith quickly returned upstairs and arrived at the doctor's office door.
"Knock knock knock."
"Please come in."
Emma Smith immediately entered, seeing a bespectacled man in his forties: "I'm Thomas Smith's parent, may I ask?"
"Oh, hello, I'm Charles Lee." The bespectacled man smiled and pointed to the sofa nearby: "Please have a seat."
Emma Smith sat down anxiously: "Dr. Lee, how is my son's condition?"
