"Ella is a child we've watched grow up, she's always had a good nature, and most importantly, she likes our Robert. As long as she likes our son, she'll be able to put up with his bad temper, right, honey?"
Looking at his smiling wife Avery Clark, Alexander Thomson thought for a moment and said, "Even if that's the case, what about the Martin family? Would they just let our son make their daughter unhappy?"
"Honey, that's not fair to say. It's not like our son is imposing his ill temper on their daughter, they're both willing participants, aren't they?"
Upon hearing Avery's words, Alexander finally understood why his wife was so enthusiastic about it.
"Besides, honey, think about it. Ella is the only daughter of the Martin family. Once she marries our Robert, the Martin family will eventually become part of our Thomson family. Isn't that a win-win situation?" As Avery spoke, she seemed to have already envisioned the future expansion and growth of the Thomson family's business.
