He shook his head and walked toward the kitchen, standing at the entrance of the dining room. He watched the big and small figures, each consuming a bowl of porridge and feeding each other. In an instant, he felt his world was complete.
Thomas saw Andrew and let go of his spoon. He walked over, grabbed Andrew's hand, and guided him to sit next to Emma.
Emma scooped up a bowl of porridge, grabbed a spoon and placed it in front of Andrew. He smiled at the mother and son and said, "What, you're both serving me now?"
Thomas spoke first, "Mom said, if we like someone and they treat us well, we need to treat them well too."
Upon hearing Thomas's words, Andrew looked at Emma and said, "You really are a good teacher. You taught Tommy a lesson in such a short time."
Emma smiled and said, "Not only was it my credit, but yours as well."
Hearing Emma's words, Andrew puffed out his chest and said, "I like that sentence, and I'm proud of it."
