Olivia Ewards felt a slight discomfort, but she didn't ask Emma Smith to leave. Instead, they continued discussing some details for a while.
Finally, around eleven o'clock, they agreed on the draft. Robert Thomson nodded, "Let's call the lawyer the day after tomorrow, and then we can finalize it."
Naturally, Olivia wouldn't object. After all, Robert didn't ask for more in the contract and followed the originally agreed price in the negotiation.
"Cousin, I'm going to leave first."
"Okay." Robert nodded, not even bothering to stand up or make polite conversation. Olivia stood there awkwardly, unsure how to respond. Emma had nothing to say to her, so she didn't bother talking to her either.
She stood there for a few minutes before finally leaving awkwardly, even closing the door herself.
Inside the room, it was quiet.
It took a while before Robert rubbed his temples, looking a bit tired. "You should rest early. We will be busy again tomorrow morning."
