Ella Martin tightly gripped the handle in the car, her face turning pale, yet she forced herself not to ask Robert Thomson to slow down.
Robert glanced at Ella and continued to accelerate. On the empty driveway of the villa area, only the sound of the tires rubbing against the floor could be heard.
Seeing the increasing speed of the car, Ella knew that Robert had no intention of slowing down, and if she didn't ask for it, he wouldn't let her off easily.
"Robert, can you please slow down a little?" Ella pleaded.
Robert snorted coldly, as if that were sufficient for an answer.
"Can you slow down? Driving so fast is too dangerous!"
Without even looking at her, the reading on the speedometer soared even higher.
"Robert, even if you're angry with me, at least consider your own safety."
She used to enjoy speeding too, but ever since her brother Ethan Martin had a car accident while racing, she had become extremely cautious whenever she drove.
