After saying that, she immediately went to her seat without further ado and started typing, accompanied by the "pitter-patter" sound of the keyboard.
Looking at her serious typing, both Robert Thomson and Christopher Wilson watched her, and it took a long while before Christopher finally laughed softly, added sugar and milk, picked up the coffee, and took a sip. Next, he praised it, "It tastes great!"
It truly was good. Robert enjoyed moderately bitter and sour coffee, as he didn't like the taste of burnt coffee. Brewing the coffee and harmonizing those flavors was quite an art.
At least, none of his previous female secretaries were able to make good coffee.
