Ling Xiao still exercised some restraint; unless absolutely necessary, he really didn't want to kill anyone from Qingxu College.

Ning Ke was furious, his face alternating between flushes of red and white.
Ling Xiao, however, paid him no further attention. Instead, he turned to Ke Yu and said, "Ning Ke is my senior brother; I don't want to kill him. But you, if you don't get out of the way, don't blame me for being merciless under my sword!"
"Ning Ke, step aside. Leave this person to me."
Ke Yu cared a great deal about his face.
He did not offer protection lightly.
