In the distance, the yellow shadow roared angrily, suddenly plummeting from mid-air, and only managed to stabilize itself in the air after a few tumbles near the treetops. It was a small beast that resembled a mink.
The little beast's body was covered in yellow fur, which made it look quite adorable.
However, its tail was enormous, more than twice the size of its small body. Its round eyes were pitch-black, shining brightly like gemstones. From those eyes emanated a sharp gaze that held traces of hardship and world-weariness. At this moment, those eyes were slightly moist, filled with a hint of pain and anger.
The most unusual thing about it was the high bulge on its abdomen, its small claws gently stroking this area. Between its two eyes, a vertical scar was faintly visible, occasionally revealing flashes of silver light.
