Chapter 114 - Chapter 114

Shisui, held by Tatsuya, groaned in pain. Reluctantly, he opened his eyes, glanced to the side, and faintly uttered a few words, "Ah, who... who..."

He utters a sentence clearly before lapsing into a coma again. However, even so, Tatsuya still discerned the two tomoe Sharingan in his pupils. Sharingan is awakened through the crucible of intense emotion. A reflection of the Uchiha heart, which burns with a flame that can illuminate the world or consume it in darkness. Will your eyes manifest in the most dangerous Genjutsu this time?

"Are you unconscious again? I can only take you back and let Tsunade have a look." Contemplating this, Tatsuya retrieved his sword handle, which he had used on Shisui, and departed.

...

"In other words, as early as the years following Grandma Mito's passing, these researchers, led by the high-ranking figures of the time, commenced research on Grandpa Hashirama's cells, correct?"

"But three years ago, this plan should have been terminated. Yet, it persists. Regardless of the origin of the cells utilized here or this entire experiment. Danzo's current actions remain unredeemable. Danzo conducted forbidden experiments on numerous individuals, including implanting Hashirama Senju's cells into their bodies which led to their deaths."

Nawaki detailed Danzo's crimes and directed the Uchiha police force ninjas: "Apprehend him and confine him; we shall arrange his execution at a later date."

Uchiha ninjas exchanged glances and eventually produced handcuffs, restraining the unconscious Danzo.

Koharu and Homura moved forward, poised to speak but hesitated.

"In other words, if you engage in unauthorized research on Grandpa's cells, could these three also face charges?"

Before the two could interject, Nawaki pointed accusatorially at the remaining three elders.

"Senju Nawaki, this laboratory belongs to Konoha!"

"The individuals involved in the experiment willingly consented to serve as test subjects for Lord Hashirama's cell transplant, so do not accuse us unjustly!"

Koharu and Homura were taken aback, sharply rebutting in the next moment.

Nawaki frowned. Damn, those test subjects were already deceased, impossible to summon from the underworld for interrogation. Indeed, employing this matter to incriminate the remaining trio seemed somewhat challenging.

"Tatsuya-sama! This, this is—"

At that moment, Minato exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention.

Immediately, they all beheld the bare upper body of the child Tatsuya was carrying towards them, with the face of the most recognized man on the Shisui's left side chest. The eyes are closed, and the face appears to be sleeping, giving it an eerie, lifeless appearance.

"That's... Grandpa's——!?" Tsunade, seeing her grandpa's face on the boy's chest, others may not recognize the face. But she being the granddaughter of Hashirama recognized Her grandpa's face instantly. She recollected her thoughts and shouted.

The others, particularly the Uchiha family, Hiruzen, and the rest of the shinobi, were utterly stunned by the visages of the child Tatsuya was carrying.

A person deemed deceased three years prior had inexplicably resurfaced before them.

"Is it Shisui?" Uchiha Fugaku inquired, his voice trembling.

Enrolled at five, graduated at five—a true Uchiha prodigy finally emerged in Konaha. The Third Hokage personally declared his demise at the hands of Sunagakure Shinobi. Why is he alive and in this lab?

At this moment, all Uchiha cast mistrustful glances at Hiruzen. Led by Uchiha Fugaku all Uchiha's Sharingan were looking at Hiruzen and they bluntly demanded, "Lord Third, we believe you owe us an explanation."

"You claimed Shisui died in a mission mishap. Yet, here he stands before us in the worst state possible. Konoha wasn't created so the children were to be used for experiments."

If Hiruzen still held the Hokage title, Uchiha Fugaku might have trodden cautiously.

However, with Hiruzen no longer occupying the Hokage seat, and Hatake Tatsuya, along with Senju Tsunade, steering the village's affairs, the sentiment towards Hiruzen turned hostile.

Naturally, Uchiha Fugaku was dispensed with pleasantries.

"This matter falls solely on Danzo's shoulders. Once I interrogate him, Uchiha will receive their due explanation."

Hiruzen gritted his teeth, his frustration simmering beneath a calm facade. Damn it, this is infuriating!

Danzo had claimed that Uchiha Shisui had perished in an experiment involving Hashirama's cells, lost to a noble sacrifice "for the sake of Konoha." Yet here Shisui stood, alive, stepping out of the shadows of the very laboratory where he was supposedly laid to rest. The truth unraveled before Hiruzen's eyes, and with it, his patience.

Beside him, Koharu and Homura exchanged tense glances, each silently cursing Danzo under their breath. His deception had betrayed not only Hiruzen but the very trust and stability they'd vowed to uphold.

"Huh! Spare us the excuses ex-Hokage-sama; when Shisui awakens, all will be revealed after our inquiry." Uchiha Fugaku snorted coldly.

Immediately, Uchiha Fugaku turned to Tatsuya and spoke, "Tatsuya-san, Shisui will be under the protection Uchiha police department within the Uchiha clan."

"I fear that you cannot suppress the Hashirama cells running rampant in this child. You should entrust Tsunade with handling the situation," Tatsuya gestured emphatically as he exclaimed.

"Very well," Fugaku agreed.

"Uchiha Shisui will be transported to Konoha Hospital under the protection of Uchiha, Danzo will be incarcerated in Konoha prison and nobody is allowed to meet him not even his old friends or root shinobi, and all others will resume their assigned duties. Once the commotion settles, everyone shall return to their tasks under my supervision!"

Tsunade addressed the assembly directly; any objections from the attendees ceased as they retreated without further comment.

However, this incident would undoubtedly trigger significant upheaval throughout Konoha's ninja community.

...

...

"Uchiha Shisui is alive!"

This revelation, akin to a blockbuster bomb, disrupted the tranquillity that had settled over Konoha. It reignited the tempestuous waters. Neither Tsunade nor Tatsuya could control the spread of the news. It disseminated among countless ninjas. The clandestine research on the First Hokage's Cells...

The prodigious talent of the Uchiha clan was reduced to a mere experimental subject...

The incarceration of Konoha's second-in-command...

A series of appalling revelations left many Konoha ninjas horrified.

"Wait… Uchiha Shisui was just a kid—barely six years old! And they still… took him?"

"He was… he was actually used as a test subject for those experiments? Hashirama's cells? Who does that to a child?"

"It's terrifying! I can't believe anyone in Konoha would allow something like this. And Danzo—who is this Danzo?"

"No, that man is a monster. I'd heard the rumors about him, but this… using a child like that? It's unforgivable."

...

At this moment, Hiruzen found myself in Konoha Prison.

"Lord Third Hokage, why are you here?!"

Minato, responsible for personally guarding Danzo, was taken aback upon seeing me.

"Minato, can you allow me to speak with my old friend?" Hiruzen spoke solemnly.

"This...," Minato hesitated, appearing embarrassed.

"Minato, I have always treated you well, and your Flying Thunder God was given to you by me," Hiruzen began, appealing to the history.

Minato relented, "Okay, but please make it quick."

He stepped back, leaving only us two old friends who had once trusted each other so deeply, now facing each other with suspicion and betrayal.

Hiruzen gritted my teeth, confronting Danzo, "You deceived me, Danzo?!"
