At the Daniels home, Adrien getting ready to leave for the hearing when his father walked into his room,
"You didn't tell me you were going out" Austin said leaning against the room door,
"Since when did you care about my movements" Adrien replied not looking at his father,
"Since the day you were born" Austin replied upset at the question,
"(scoffs) really, when last did you sleep in this house, when last did we spend time together, you killed the only people that cared about me, what else do you want"
"You shouldn't complain, when I leave this house, I don't joke around, I go out there looking for a way to make your life better…."
"By killing people for their properties? by kidnapping people for money? by committing fraud and scamming people or by a legal means" Adrien cut in upset,
"Everything you own is through illegal means and I can never accept it, why'd you think I started my own business, because I hate everything about your so called work and I hate you too especially for the fact that you killed your wife, brother and daughters for wealth, you're a devil, I hate you so much and just so you'd know, I am not doing what you asked me to, I don't care the consequence, I'll never become like you and I'll never help you out with your evil deeds, do your worse dad I don't care anymore, I was never scared of you and I'll never be" Adrien said then walked out on his dad, Austin who was surprised about what his son said to him said nothing as he left the house.
By the time Adrien arrived at the court, the hearing had already started, Kenzie was already showing her evidence to the court,
"This is the CCTV footage of what happened in the hotel that night, it's not really clear cuss the lights were off" Kenzie said as a laptop was handed over to the judge, after some time the judge paused the video,
"You said you were raped?"
"Yes, your honor"
"But it sounds like you're enjoying it"
"I was drugged that's why" Kenzie replied regretting filling a case against Jack,
"Oh, you were drugged" the judge replied then went back to watching the video,
"According to this video, this happened on the 29th of December by 10pm am I correct?"
"Yes, your honor"
"Do you have any witness to testify to this claim?"
"No, your honor the evidence says it all" Kenzie's lawyer responded,
"Okay, so over to you Mr. Stone, you deny raping her and being the father of her unborn child am I right"
"Yes, your honor"
"Who is she to you?"
"My fake girlfriend"
"Fake girlfriend?"
"Yes, your honor, we made a deal, she wanted me to be her boyfriend because she wanted to get back at her ex so I made a deal with her, I said I would have sex with her whenever I wanted and she accepted"
"Oh, I see" the judge said nodding,
"Objection your honor" said Kenzie's lawyer,
"Objection overruled",
"So, since you deny doing this Mr. Stone, where were you on the 29th of December by 10pm?"
"I was at Virginia at that time and it was 6am over at Virginia so I was still in bed" Jake's response made the court to mutter,
"Order!" said the judge,
"Do you have evidence to prove you were at Virginia"
"Yes, your honor" Jake said as his lawyer handed the judge an iPad,
"That in your hand is my client's online transaction for his flight to Virginia and that proves that my client left Melbourne on the 20th of December and returned on the 9th of December" Jakes's lawyer said as the judge examined the iPad,
"I knew Jack was innocent" whispered Hazel to Mia,
"Do you have any witness to back up this evidence?"
"Yes, your honor, my dad"
"Okay, Mr. Stone please step up to the witness board"
the judge said, Mr. Stone made his way to the witness board and swore that he would say nothing but the truth, the judge questioned him, asking him if his son was really with him and if he could prove it, Mr. Stone then handed is cell phone over to Jake's lawyer who handed it to the judge,
"That in your hand is evidence that Jake was with me, I was on a video call with my sister that morning and for some reason I decided to record the call, I recorded Jake asleep in his bed by exactly six am which is ten pm at Melbourne" the judge handed the phone back and asked Mr. Stone to step down from the witness board,
"So, Miss Griffin, for the last time, do you have any other evidence or witness to prove your side of the story"
"No, your honor" Kenzie said in a low tone,
"Speak up!"
"No, your honor" Kenzie responded startled, Mrs. Penny began to feel uneasy on her seat,
"Mr. Stone, do you have any other evidence or witness"
"Yes, your honor, I have one more witness my friend Zed",
"Mr. Zed please step up to the witness board" Kenzie's heart skipped a beat the she looked at her lawyer for help,
"I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do, I told you, you won't be able to win this case cuss it's based on lies, your own your own now" Kenzie's lawyer whispered to Kenzie making her tear up, Zed had already sworn to telling nothing but the truth and was now presenting his evidence to the judge,
"That's the call record of Kenzie and I on the 29th of December by 9pm" the judge played the record to the hearing of the whole court,
"Hey Zed" Kenzie said,
"Hey"
"You busy?"
"No why"
"I want to see you"
"Why"
"I know you like me; you've always liked me and I feel the same way"
"But you have a boyfriend"
"Quit the act, you know we aren't actual couples, it's just a contract to satisfy each other's sexual desire" Kenzie bowed her head in shame while her mom glared at her furious,
"You know Jake doesn't feel a thing for me, you're the one I like, I've gotten back on my ex so I and Jakes deal is more of dead right now. I'm horny Zed (moans) please come eat me up and get into me"
"Now I can't say no, where should we meet"
"Travelodge hotel I'll be waiting for you, bye" Kenzie said the hung up the call,
"Next is the CCTV footage of Kenzie and I going into the hotel room 205 by 9:50 and then the next was a video I made in the shower with Kenzie by 10:30, we had sex again and she refused to use protectives, lastly the call record from last Friday, she called me and told me that was pregnant but didn't want to keep the child cuss her mom won't approve of it because it's not Jack's" Zed said as the judge played the record,
"Hey Zed"
"What's up"
"I'm pregnant Zed, I'm carrying your child"
"Oh wow, that's a good thing right"
"No, it's not, my mom won't be happy cuss the child is not Jake's"
"So, what you going to do about it"
"I don't know cuss I also don't want to get rid of it, I'll think of something, bye" Kenzie said the ended the call, the judge handed back the evidence to Zed as the court fell completely silent,
"Did Jake know about all this" asked the judge,
"I told him I had sex with Kenzie but I didn't tell him about the pregnancy" Zed replied, the judge asked him to step down from the witness bored,
"There's no need asking any more questions cuss the results are out"
"I chose to work on this case because I thought the rights of a female was violated but it turns out I was wrong, there's no case to solve here, we all just came here to waste our time. The accused is innocent case closed" the judge said the got up and began to leave while everyone in the court stood up, Immediately she was out of the room Mrs. Penny walked out of the court in shame, worst of all everything was caught on camera, Jake's classmates, Adrien and Diego went to meet him so did Shawn, Jaden, Mia, Hazel and three more students from Angels High, they all left the court talking about what just happened in the court,
"I just posted the video on the school group" a girl named Sasha said and everyone laughed,
"The school is going to be fun on Monday, I can't wait" Hazel said giggling.
