Aurora was silently listening to Aadi, and the more she heard, the more dumbfounded she became. These people sounded incredibly powerful, and she would have to face someone like them. Still, she had confidence. She believed that, with her Bloodline and hard work, she could definitely defeat them.
Aadi continued, "The 'Heart's Desire' is a device that, if completed, could even control the entire world as it's made from the world's origin itself. Remember, this Heart's Desire is made up of Azure Divine World's origin, the world under which this realm exists. Fortunately for you, it's incomplete. The current host wouldn't be able to handle its full power. To complete it, the host must find the origin sources of Azure Divine World, which are scattered around."
"I've checked," he added, "and the only origin source in this realm is The Moon—the water element origin source. So you have time to develop yourself, as he'll need to travel across many realms and worlds to gather every single one of them."
"Oh yeah," he continued, "the more origin sources he collects, the more powerful he'll become. Each origin source grants him full control over that particular element, just like your lightning. For example, if he obtains The Moon in this realm, he'll have complete control over water and anything related to it, whether it be ice or steam, and his affinity with it will increase, speeding up his cultivation significantly."
Aurora fell silent upon hearing this. She had experienced complete control over lightning herself, so she understood how terrifying her opponent would be if he gained control over every element and completed the Heart's Desire.
Just imagine fighting someone in a death battle where every elemental technique she used would be ineffective because her opponent could simply control or counter it back at her. She would be easily defeated. She only had control over lightning, but he would have everything under his control. Although she considered all this, she wasn't frightened. She firmly believed she could come out on top. Her belief didn't stem from her Bloodline but from her master.
What Aadi didn't tell her was that, while the Heart's Desire was indeed terrifying, it couldn't compare to the Ruler's Bloodline. This was evident from how the universe's Heaven's Will interfered when Aurora awakened, but it hadn't done anything about the Heart's Desire, clearly not considering it anything worthy.
Aurora digested all the information, then asked, "Wait, doesn't that mean he'll be a multi-elemental cultivator? That's going to be a problem."
Aadi nodded. "You're right, which is why I'll start training you now. But since you lack a suitable foundation, I'll help you with that first."
Aurora's eyes became resolute, and she said, "I'm ready, Master. But what about the other one you spoke of?"
Aadi replied, "Don't worry about it; I'll tell you when the time comes. For now, let's start by fixing your Profound vein, and then we'll spar a little to assess your battle instincts and knowledge."
Aurora nodded.
"Good. Now, I think you already know, but I'll still explain: Profound veins are like the blood veins in your body, covering every part and helping to absorb the profound energy from the atmosphere, allowing you to begin your cultivation journey. Profound veins are very important for cultivators, as they determine talent. The wider the veins, the more energy you can absorb, and the faster you progress."
"They also determine the elements you have an affinity with. Factors like your parents' lineage and the place you're born affect the element affinity you have. There are many grades of veins, but you don't have to worry about that. After your awakening, you already possess the best grade; I just have to heal and connect them."
Aadi approached Aurora, placing a finger on her forehead, and said sternly, "Don't resist."
Aurora nodded, closing her eyes. The next moment, she felt a warm current of energy from her forehead, which spread into every part of her body, healing each tiny Profound vein and some minor injuries left after the awakening.
*Crack.*
A cracking sound echoed as all of Aurora's Profound veins reconnected. She opened her eyes, now able to feel the profound energy in the air. Though she had experienced something similar before, she was mesmerized by this phenomenon; every pore of her body began to greedily absorb profound energy without her even trying.
Since Aurora wasn't cultivating with any specific manual, the profound energy simply flowed into various parts of her body, strengthening them.
"Okay, that's done. Now we can move to sparring, but get familiar with your surroundings first to give your best."
Aurora nodded, clenching her fists, and punched the air. She raised her leg, kicking the same spot, gradually picking up a rhythm in her movements. Then, she coated her hands with profound energy and punched again. This time, a deafening sound filled the air as the force of her punch created a powerful impact.
Coating her body with profound energy wasn't something a beginner could do, but since Aurora had already been a profound artist, this was easy for her.
She continued practicing with profound energy for two hours until she was completely exhausted and lay on the ground, panting. Still, she was glad; she could demonstrate her prowess well now. Eager to impress her master, she immediately sat up, absorbing profound energy to replenish her reserves.
After a while, she stood, a fierce glint in her eyes, and said to Aadi, "Let's spar, Master."
