Seth and Liana finally reached the battlefield but they were forced to stop. Not because of some obstacles but after seeing the aftermath of the battle.
They both stood stupified while looking at the vast charred land. There was nothing but scalded ground.
They got chills just by imagining the level of strength used in this battle. This was just too much for them. Especially Liana who hadn't seen a fight between Ruler Profound Stage Artists.
Seth was faring better because of his standing in the sect he had seen much more than Liana. But even he was shocked by sheer vastness of the area involved in the battle.
This was no battle between normal Ruler Profound Stage Artists.
Liana closed her eyes and sighed. She then smiled and said, "See, I told you we would be nothing but burden if we stayed. Tell me can you do anything in a battle of this level?"
Seth scratched his cheek and replied, "Well nothing aside from dying."
