She snapped out of her thoughts as she had immediately hid the book underneath her pillow, and stood still in front of the door,
"Who is it?" She asks, feeling her voice crack, as she could only hoped that the person didn't notice, silently letting out a curse for being so careless
"Darling? Is something wrong? Your voice had cracked"
The door then slowly swung open, and her eyes widen when seeing her mother's figure in the doorway,
She silently cursed when hearing her mother's voice, she knows that her mother cares for her deeply, to the point that her mother can notice that something is wrong with her,
"Nothing is wrong mother! I just finished reading a whole novel that was written by Ria! I was so absorbed by the story and became to emotional" she says as she then let out an awkward laugh
