"I hope she calls me," he murmured, his voice tinged with doubt. "I left my card with her son, but… do you think she'll call?" He looked at Sherly, seeking reassurance.
Sherly gave him a warm, encouraging smile, though her mind was already working on a backup plan. "Well, she might, especially if her son keeps reminding her about it. But don't worry," she added, leaning forward slightly, "I'll help you get in touch if she doesn't reach out to you."
