Finally, the honeymoon was over and it was time to resume work. Edwards stood beside his car outside the building, waiting for Annabelle to join him. He couldn't help but smile as he watched her rush out of the house in a beautiful blue corporate gown, carrying a Hermes bag and wearing matching shoes. She glanced at her Rolex wristwatch and gave him an apologetic look.
"Sorry I kept you waiting," she said as she entered the car and took her seat in the passenger seat. Edwards started the engine and drove towards the big gate, which was already open thanks to the security guard.
