Chapter 6 - Auction

---Karsten POV ---

This is life. sitting in a well-lit room, smiling, and counting imaginary coins. It has been 3 days since they captured the Fox Girl and contacted influential people of every race except the beasts. They know for sure that all of them will fight for her since she is powerful and a legendary beast. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. "Boss?" This voice belongs to Roland. "Come in." The door opened. "What is it?" I'm hopeful he has good news. "Sir, the people we contacted all arrived, and the girl woke up." That was indeed good news. They contacted the humans, elves, and dwarfs. Each of these races sends one expert: the head of their army, the king and his family, and the head of their adventurer guild. The plan is to show the girl to these people, let their experts confirm her race and strength, and let them fight over who can buy her. Grinning, he asked, "Is the high-ranking healer here?" Matching his grin, Roland replied, "Yes." All of them arrived at the same time. I ordered the healer to go to the girl. "Shall we go there too?" "Yes. "Let's watch him." He stood up, went out of the door, and went down the stairs. In the basement, he could already see the healer. "Welcome, Mr. Healer." This way." He greeted her and pointed in the direction where it was becoming darker. Four guards stood at the end of that hallway. all around one cage, and the area is well lit. "There we are." "This girl is our product, and I want that you heal her of any physical injuries and remove all possible curses from her, Mr. Healer." The girl, who was now sitting up straight on her bed, had her hands cuffed, her hair bound together, and a collar around her neck, which was attached to the wall. All of these things were artifacts, so she couldn't escape. "I see," said the healer, while one of the guards opened the

30 minutes later, and everything was prepared. a large room with a big table in the middle where all the negotiations would be done, a small area for the girl for the customers to see, and that she isn't all uncomfortable. "Bring them in." Karsten ordered. One of the guards opened the large doors, and 20 people marched into the room. 3 experts for races with their crystal balls: 2 of the highest-ranking people in the army of every race, and the King and his family of every race. The beast experts, all old men who have spent their lives looking at books, instantly looked at the area where the Fox Girl was curled up and facing the wall. Then the delegates of the army: one old man and a young woman from the humans; one young-looking male and female elf; and two grumpy elf dwarfs The king of the humans was the only one with a family to this point. His two boys were 21 and 15. The human king and queen looked like they were in their 40s, and the other monarchs looked the same.

"Welcome! "As all of you have read the letter we sent you, we have a beast who is legendary grade rarity and so strong, it could kill a [demonic poison lizard] all by herself." One of the beast experts stepped forward. "Mr. Karsten, could we, the beast experts, perhaps confirm your allegations?" Everyone nodded in consent. "It would be a pleasure for me." But don't worry about her stats; she is wearing three artifacts right now. "That should lower her stats extremely." After saying that, the three experts went toward the girl. As the first one arrived at her position, he turned her around so that she faced him. A gasp went through the crowd. She was the most beautiful being they all saw. if there weren't the murderous glare on her face. Karsten saw the two human boys grin.

The experts stood in front of her with their crystal balls in front of them. The human expert then took her arm and tried to force her to touch all the balls, but her arm moved 0 millimeters. Then the dwarf and elf expert joined the effort of their human counterparts, and together they forced the girl to touch all the balls. Then they let go of her arm and went towards the waiting group, looking at the crystal balls. They all stopped at the same time and gasped. They looked at each other and compared the results, then faced the group with pale expressions. "Mr. Karsten, what we've got here is a mythical white fox." The human said "And? "Is that something special?" Kristen asked while wondering why they were all so pale. "Well," the elf said, "[Mythical white foxes] haven't been spotted in more than 300 years. In old books that documented their beings, it is stated that these foxes are extremely strong and intelligent. It has never occurred that someone could force contact between a [Mythical white fox] and any other person. These foxes can also wield five or more types of magic and have immense physical power. But they were peaceful and only attacked when provoked. And this," he pointed at the chains, "is an immense provocation." Karsten smiled. "And? "She is too weak, as she could attack us right now." "Actually," the dwarf said, "we all compared our results." I will now read them. Name: Yuri Strel Race: mythical white fox. Age: 1 month, 1 week Stage: 2, "As he said that she hit stage 2 in just 1 month of age, all of them became a little bit uneasy." "All the skills are blurred, but we could make out 10 active and 11 passive skills." "We could also make out that she wields 10 elements." A loud gasp went through everyone. The most skilled magician until now could only wield four elements. "And all of them are on black rank." Now they became fearful. If she could wield 10 elements and had all of them at black proficiency at 1 month of age, she could destroy entire empires at will. Out of the 10, we could identify four. Void, space, gravity, and matter The four rarest types of magic are all on the S-rank list. Now to her other stats: These are already the reduced stats. HP: 4.000.000, MP: 3.000.000, Vitality: 860, Strength: 320, Dexterity: 319, Intelligence: 999, Willpower: 500... With every word the dwarf said, everyone grew paler and paler. Her stats were abnormally high. Even with reduced stats, she hit stage 4 at only stage 2!

"Well, since you all heard them, let's take a seat, and then you can bid on her." Karsten marched to the big table, and the rest did the same. "The human army will offer 1.000.000 gold for this fox girl." The human representative of the army instantly began. "The elven crown will bid 1.100.000 gold for this fox girl." "..." "..." "..." Karsten smiled. This was exactly what he was hoping for.

The bidding went on for two hours. And while the adults were bidding for this girl, the two human boys went over to her and tried to talk to her. The girl, however, ignored them completely, and after countless attempts to gain her attention, the two went to their father again. "I have an idea." You all know that whoever gets this girl, the entire balance of power will break. And since we all don't want to go bankrupt, let's send her to the 3-Race Academy. All of us have the same influence there, and it is a training ground for the army, a study point for the beast experts, and we, the royals, can have contact with her at all times. "This would be the best option to get a leash on her." The human king said after the price for her passed 10.000.000 gold. Everyone nodded in agreement. "You could do that, but I want 1.000.000 gold from everyone." Karsten said. They looked at each other, nodded, and handed him the gold.
