Synopsis
In the distant future of the year 8090, humanity has expanded its reach to other planets and galaxies, creating a new era of exploration and opportunity. However, this interstellar migration is not an equal endeavor, as only the privileged and wealthy have secured their place among the stars, leaving the less fortunate to dwell on the depleted Earth, now known as Nexus Prime. Aiden, a young man once yearning to be a mechanic, faces the stark reality of his existence on Nexus Prime. Driven by the desperate desire to escape the harsh conditions and secure a better life, he toils as a fuel miner on the planet Aurorium, extracting the precious substance known as Luminite. Yet, fate has a cruel twist in store for Aiden. When his monthly reports arrive, he is confronted with a shattering revelation - he has been diagnosed with Stellarium Syndrome Disease (SSD), a terminal condition that afflicts only a small fraction of the population. "Why me? Why always me?" he agonizes. Just as despair clouds Aiden's vision, a flyer comes into his possession, offering hope and a new beginning. Harken Techs, a renowned company, seeks recruits for its exploration team. With the promise of adventure and a substantial salary, Aiden seizes the opportunity, clinging to a chance at survival and a glimmer of his dream. As part of the exploration team, Aiden embarks on an interstellar mission to investigate a new planet. The mysterious world holds untold wonders and dangers, and the team soon discovers that this planet is far from hospitable for human life. [CODE: RED, CODE: RED. Chapter 1 - Chapter-1

Year 8090.

Science has gone far beyond a human's thinking. People are going to other planets to live.

In 8050, all of Earth's resources were depleted completely. That's when a guy named "Xander Harken" emerged from the shadows of history as the visionary who changed the course of humanity's fate. He opened his own company named 'Harken StellarTech.'

His invention of the "Cosmic Engine," a revolutionary technology that harnessed the power of interstellar phenomena. This engine uses a special fuel that is mined from a planet named "Aurorium."

"'Luminite,' the extraordinary fuel mined from the depths of Aurorium, is a substance unlike anything found on Earth. Its appearance is ethereal, a luminescent blend of swirling colors that seem to dance with an inner light. When held in one's hand, it emits a gentle warmth that hints at its immense energy potential.

In its raw form, Luminite is a mesmerizing crystal, coveted for its ability to store and amplify energy. However, harnessing its power is no simple task. Advanced technologies and intricate processes are required to refine Luminite into a usable fuel source. Its properties border on the magical, and as such, it is both awe-inspiring and perilous.

When combined with the revolutionary Cosmic Engine, the true potential of Luminite is unlocked. The Cosmic Engine, a wonder of science that manipulates the fabric of space-time, and Luminite, with its energy-amplifying capabilities, form a harmonious synergy. Together, they become the catalyst for creating "warp portals."

These warp portals are used to travel through space in a very short time. That's how humans travel to other planets and galaxies if they want to nowadays.

Most of the humans now live on the planet named Nexora Prime. This planet is similar to Earth; the resources of this planet got depleted in just 10 years of human residence on it. That's when Harken Tech launched its new project.

'Project Celestial Haven.'

In the Celestial Haven project, new teams of space pilots, scientists, and mercenaries would go to different planets and see if the planet has surviving abilities for humans.

Surviving abilities refer to oxygen, soil quality, and water. But the most important surviving ability is 'No Competition'. If any other extraterrestrial form lived on that planet that can't be handled by humans, we will leave it immediately and go to the next planet.

If it had the proper specifications, then a team of mechanics would go to the specific planet and build new homes for the rich people.

Only those who are rich enough can afford to go to those planets and live peacefully.

On Nexora Prime, only the lowest of the lowest people live, those who work from day to night without any breaks just for one time's food.

I also live on this planet.

Nexus Prime, Central Park...

A young man sat on a bench far from the others who were playing on the field. He had a pale face and a slim body; his eyes black and hair too. His age looked around 16-17 years old.

His clothes were in torn condition, and he didn't look very good. He is eating a strip of dried meat, with a bad look on his face.

From his attire, anyone can tell that he is one of the poorest of the poor.

"Why me? Why does it always have to be fucking me?" Aiden cursed as he looked at his left hand and observed small blue marks all over it.

He then looked at an envelope with only one word written on it, 'Terminal.'

Throwing the meat strip in the garbage bin, he picked up the envelope and opened it.

As soon as he opened it, a white paper came out of the envelope. It was none other than Aiden's monthly check-up report.

On the top of the report, an H symbol with a ring around it was printed, and below it was written Aiden's name.

Aiden worked as a Luminite miner on Aurorium. He wanted to save money for himself so that he can live a life of luxury on other planets and escape this hellhole named 'Nexus Prime.'

Every day at 5:30 in the morning, when even the sun wasn't up, he would go to the transportation agency and get a ticket to Aurorium for 12 Galactic Gems.

An empty spaceship would come and take him to Aurorium within 20 minutes.

Aiden would reach Aurorium as the first miner in the morning, and he would spend all of his day mining Luminite on the planet without any breaks. At the end of the day, he would receive 200-250 Galactic Gems based on the mining he did.

After that, he would come back to Nexus, have a meal for 5-6 Galactic Gems, and sleep on the streets and then repeat the same next day.

He only had one goal in his mind, to collect 500,000 Gems and buy a home for himself on a planet named 'Astrion-7'.

He collected around 219k Galactic Gems from mining daily.

He was graduated from a government school where basic educations were given for free. Aiden always wanted to be a mechanic from his early years, but when he grew up and came out of the child shelter.

He was faced with the harsh reality of this planet, that's when his goal was diverted from becoming a mechanic to buy a house on another planet.

Mining Luminite for Harken Techs was the best job he could take with decent payout, but this job also had one downside.

If a Human is exposed to Luminite for a longer-term time period, then he or she had only one percent chance of catching the terminal disease called Stellarium Syndrome Disease (SSD).

These words are the same words that were written on Aiden's monthly check-up report.

In this condition, small blue circles start to appear all over the human body, and three weeks later, the host will start experiencing hallucinations and cut-outs.

2 weeks later, body parts will stop working slowly, and one week later, the brain will be the only part of your body that will work.

In the next three days, the host will die, and his body will be decomposed automatically.

"I can't believe it, I will die like this. I didn't become a mechanic; I don't have a house on any other planet, and I don't have a girl that I can call my girlfriend.

This life is shit, and I spit on it." Aiden spoke as he spit on the reports that he was holding in his hands.

"New Recruitments in the agency, New Recruitments. Come join." A loud noise was heard from a helicopter flying high above the city as it was throwing flyers all over the city.

One of the flyers landed on Aiden's bench.

He threw his monthly reports away and picked up the flyer.
