Chapter 28 - Sale of Materials

Finally, after finishing in the guild, we went to the other building, which is in charge of selling materials.

Compared to the adventurer's guild, it had a long table with several beautiful workers in the place.

As we entered, I looked at the beauties at the reception, although for some reason that I did not understand, I felt Valery stomp my foot hard.

"What was that for?" Ask something sore.

"Hmph" Valery just huffed as if he was somewhat annoyed.

She's angry?

She looks really cute that way though.

No, I better have myself right there and focus here.

Leaving my thoughts we went to a receptionist who was free.

When she saw us, she gave a fake smile.

"Good morning miss, we come to sell some materials" I said calmly.

"Of course, with pleasure, however, keep in mind that the amount will be paid according to the state of the material. If the material is in good condition, its cost may increase, but if it is poorly preserved, it will decrease," explained the receptionist.

I suppose they do this as a rule and be more thorough in the process.

"Well I want to sell these 10 sets of goblin claws and horns" I took everything out of a small brown volsa.

The receptionist checked everything before placing it in some kind of window and then said.

"Okay 10 sets, so it will be 400 Valis in total. Please confirm" the Receptionist said.

Taking the volsa, I checked its interior and indeed there was that amount, although this was shown to me by the system.

"Thank you" I said.

"No problem, was that all or is there something else."

Hearing that I fell silent until I remembered the various monsters and wolf skins and mid-stage monsters of Rank 1 and above that I had married during my time in the forest.

I guess more capital couldn't hurt?

"Yes, I want to sell some materials."

With that said, I took out the same marrok volsa where I began to take out all the bodies or, well, their skins from the monsters.

From the skin of the twin bear, to the fur of a strange silver-colored monkey with black stripes similar to a baboon.

Seeing the large pile of materials I decide to cut it right there as it would be too suspicious.

Or well it was already suspicious since they all looked in our direction.

I feel a little uncomfortable right now.

"Wh-what? How did you...."

"Hunt in the forest before coming" Explain quickly.

"Did you also dismantle them yourself?" asked the receptionist.

"Nope. It was her" I pointed to Valery who only gave a look of surprise for being pointed out.

She this she seemed to see me and she just winked at her to humor me to which she nodded.

The adventurers began to gather around us with shocked faces upon seeing the large amount of materials that had appeared a few seconds ago.

it was literally a mini-mountain of many monster bodies that were only for rank 2 and higher.

"Eh....Well I want to sell all this." I said somewhat uncomfortable by the many looks.

Even Fenrir felt uncomfortable with so many eyes looking at us.

".....I-I see. Please wait a bit to review the materials" said the Receptionist who had to bring other of her classmates to review everything.

The wait was long but finally after 10 minutes it ended.

"Sorry for waiting".

"No problem" I said with my usual calm tone to which Valery nodded.

"Together, we will buy it for 200,000 Zenis."

...

200,000! Zenis! Are you kidding me!

Will I now go from being poor to being rich?

"Not very high?" Ask surprised.

"No, not at all. These mount materials range from F to D rank, due to the fact that the condition of the mounts is good, the price increases."

Now I understand.

If the material is well preserved, its price increases or, well, it was what I could understand.

He wasn't the smartest guy here.

At least on the bright side we have a lot of money.

"This is the reward. Please confirm."

After going through the three big bags of Zenis he took them and entered my clothes even though reality sent them to my storage.

"Thank you." I thanked for one last time in the day.

Tomorrow I would finish selling the remaining materials but for now it is better to get clothes and accommodation for the night.

"Goraa! Wait a minute!"

And with that my trouble signal went off.
