Lord Asmodeus, Lord Rufus, Lord Mehmed and Queen Tania had finally made their way to the white fae kingdom fully armed and prepared for battle. Rufus patted Lord Asmodeus on the shoulder while the former's gaze was fixed on his son and Queen Axia fighting off in the distance. It was now time to execute his own plan. Rufus knew well it was only easier said than done. Eliot was going to meet his end today and he could only imagine the turmoil the Lord must be in. Lord Asmodeus after silently mastering the courage to proceed smiled in a pained way at Lord Rufus and gestured with a nod of his head to proceed. The new team of royals advanced in full vim towards the fighting duo.
"Ha-ha-ha. I see you've found yourself some allies." Eliot leaped back and declared with a trail of blood running down the corner of his lips. He smirked at his father.
"Wow. You even got father on your side. Impressive." He nodded thoughtfully, wearing a mocking look on his face as he mockingly bowed in respect to Lord Asmodeus. "Your highness." Sarcasm reigned in his voice.
The Lord only silently pressed his palms into hard balls, gritting his teeth against each other. This was proving difficult for him to bear.
"Son, please stop all this and come home with me." He begged. Eliot however pretended to think about it playfully.
"Never." He declared and leaped away from them. Once a good distance away from them, the boy began to recite an ancient Lyc-demon spell. Dark hue began seeping of the pores of his body. Rufus turned to Axia with a strange look that communicated something only he and her understood. She nodded. Lord Asmodeus was now watching in horror, the transformation his son was undergoing. The darkness continued seeping from his body with the blue and gold in his eyes glowing until it turned completely black. His usual fair complexion was now toned with a shade of black that glistened under the merciful rays of the sun. His muscles twitched, cracking sounds of bones sounded, while his height increased beyond average until he now towered over all of them. The dark hue that was seeping off his pores had now taken solid forms like whips and coiled firmly around his arms, dancing their way down to the floor and swirling with energy as though they were alive. Axia was horrified at the view before her. She observed the dark whips coiled around the boy's arms eating into his very flesh and feeding off his blood. Energy was pulsing through them wildly.
"Father." Eliot called. His voice came out loud and deep. "Do you see me now? This is what I had always been destined for. Greatness in the likes of a god himself." He added in his thunderous voice. For the first time in ages, Lord Asmodeus stood puzzled, totally blank in the mind of what to do or say. His son was standing just before him, mightily like one of the gods of Egypt. He knew it deep within him. The day he dreaded dearly was right before him.
"Go to hell with your entire legion you beast." Axia snarled earning herself a smirk from the boy.
"Oh Axia, Axia, Axia. Tsk, tsk, tsk." He sang, shaking his head in disapproval. "I have always been your biggest admirer. So strong and fierce." The newly turned giant announced and without warning teleported until he was now standing before the queen. Axia stepped an inch back.
"You know, when I wipe away all your subjects I might actually spare your life so that you can see what becomes of your precious kingdom." He whispered to her with his cold gaze lowered down on her.
"Over my dead body, beast." The queen retorted.
"Oh! Is that so?" He grinned mischievously and announced, "Okay." Without warning, he slapped Axia hard over the face sending her skidding a long distance from where they stood.
"Axia!" Rufus on impulse called, spread his majestic large wings and flew in full speed towards the prince, grasping hold of his strong waist and flying high up with him. Amid his flight, the prince struck him continuously with the whips coiled around his arms. The boy was slowly slipping from his hold with the whips striking against his body hungrily but he would not budge. Eliot as it seemed now was just too tall and wide for him to grasp hold of properly, thus, proved difficult and gradually slowed him down as he flew higher.
Without any announcement, Lord Mehmed materialized himself from sight, appearing above the flying duo now approaching him. He readied his fist that was pulsating with red energy and allowed himself to crash into the prince. Rufus instantly let go of the prince, allowing both Lord Mehmed and the boy to fall from the sky. Amid their fall, Lord Mehmed allowed the red energy to pulse through both his fist and punched them hard into the prince's face. Eliot groaned, spewing red liquid from his mouth as his head went behind him while he still kept falling from the sky at a high speed. Just before the fall, Mehmed teleported and crashed into a garden off the distance while the giant crashed into the ground forming a huge dent. It all happened so fast that Lord Asmodeus could only stand and watch. The sound from the huge impact was deafening with dust introduced into the air. Lord Asmodeus fanned away the dust from his view with his hand and met with a scene of Rufus and Queen Tania combining their powers together and casting it towards the prince lying in the dent. Eliot's loud cry rang loudly as the two powers combined roasted him. Mehmed, whom had recovered almost immediately from his fall, sent a beam of green light fleeing to add to the duo in action. Lord Asmodeus stood rooted to the ground watching his boy subjected to a merciless treatment with a sullen look on his face. A frown soon plastered his forehead. This was not the plan. He observed. He moved towards the trio.
"Rufus." He shouted. The beam of powers was loudly sounding as it performed its task. "What are you doing to him? The plan was to capture him and keep him sedated until we found a way to actually kill him."
"Asmo. I know you are probably feeling terrible right now but we need to push all the feelings aside and deal with the obvious truth. Your son is nearly immortal." Rufus explained gritting his teeth hard at the force of the beam being shot from his palms. His gaze was still on the boy shrieking for dear salvation.
"So you think torturing him is the answer? For how long?"
"Not for long Asmo. We only need him weak. We have a plan but we knew you won't agree that's why we didn't include you in it."
"What plan is that Rufus? Tell me." Asmodeus sounded angry.
"I'm sorry Asmo, but you have to stay out of this one." Rufus announced and pulled his hands away- abruptly stopping the beam shooting from his palms and turned to the former. He snapped his fingers. Lord Asmodeus was taken by surprise when he suddenly found himself caged in a dark bubble. Infuriated, he struck the bubble hard with all his might but the thing would not break. His weakness. Rufus knew of his weakness. He was using it against him. The Swan flower. As part of his abilities, Rufus could draw energy from any live entity and use it to produce a stronger one. He must have drawn that of a swan flower to create the bubble case around him. He struck, banged and kicked it with his might to no avail. He was feeling slightly dizzy. Exposure to the flower had the ability to render its victim weak, drowsy and sometimes immobile. His eyes was slowly becoming blurry as he felt his legs weakening. Slowly, he leaned against the bubble and allowed himself to glide down. Shaking the haziness away, he stared at the others continuing with their torture.
Axia had joined the others a while ago. A cut laid on the area just above her left brow with blood trailing down her eye. "Axia. Now." Lord Rufus shouted when he saw that the prince had stopped wailing from pain. "Perform the ritual." He ordered.
As the queen began the ritual by reciting a spell, nearly half way through, Eliot shrieked loudly and suddenly began to rise. Rufus and his team continued to pour in more energy, trying their best to make the boy fall once again but the former was proving stubborn now. His dark eyes gazed down at the four rulers, he snarled and raised his right leg high and stomped it on the ground. The loud sound of the impact resonated all over with a wave of wind racing towards them. Axia, whose eyes were closed amid her recitation abruptly lost balance and found herself landing on the ground. Both Mehmed and Tania formed a shield before them to break the wind just before it could hit them while Rufus used his large wings to shield himself from it. Once the wave settled, a black beam was launched their way.
"Out of the way." Mehmed shouted to alert the others and instinctively grabbed Tania protectively and rolled to his right, nearly dodging the attack by a hair's breathe. The force of the attack with the wind that came with it blew Axia and Rufus wide apart to either sides of the battlefield. Eliot was now standing strong and mightily over them, his nose flaring with fire blazing from it while his elongated teeth displaying added more viciousness to his outlook.
The witch queen after freeing herself from Mehmed's grip aimed her wand at the threat before them and launched a spell his way but Eliot was swift enough to move aside, allowing the attack to hit some rogues off in the distance. They instantly burst like balloons. Eliot shrank himself to an average height and teleported from sight appearing just behind the queen. The whips around his arms coiled around the queen unannounced, tightly compressing her delicate structure. Wickedness shone behind Eliot's grin as he continued with his torture. Rufus abruptly rose, spread his wings wide and flew towards the boy. He formed a long blade in his hand and thrust it into the boy's back; however, Eliot dropped the weakened woman to the ground and swiftly turned to Rufus and slashed the right whip at him. The force sent the Lord crashing into the wall of a small house. With the blade impaled in his back, he turned around and faced the other rulers whom were left standing with the life-like whips graciously dancing by his sides. Laughing sardonically, his person increased in height again to the giant he was a while ago and began slashing the whips about mercilessly. The long and strong whips slashed into some faes and rogues fighting off in the distance, tearing limbs and throwing the soldiers away.
Lord Asmodeus continued to strike the bubble with the little strength he had while his eyes was glued to the scene before him. The whips as it seemed were still eating into Eliot's flesh, feeding of his blood- and the more blood they consumed, the more they swirled about wildly, and pulsed with energy. Was his son not seeing that the whips were only going to suck him dry? That it was only a matter of time until they drained him of energy. He thought in frustration. Darkness was upon them. Eliot was now heading towards the soldiers fighting with an evident gleam of hunger flashing in his dark. It looked as though he could not differentiate between his own men and that of his enemy for he went about slashing the whips all round. Both his legion and faes were now running about from the danger that mercilessly divided bodies in two. Eliot's vicious laughter echoed loudly as he stood graciously in the middle of a bloodbath. The more kill he made, the more pleasure he gained. The darkness in his eyes was now turning in a blood red as he trailed deep into the battlefield. The palace itself was now just a leaped away from him. He was pleased at the thought of his plans all falling into place. He laughed aloud.
