"Well, there's nothing to be done," Vol said. "Find that serious old knight, whatever his name was, and get him to chase those sheep and cattle out of those fields."
He couldn't hide his grin as he said it. He thought it would make for an amusing sight, seeing a person like that performing such a peasant-like task.
Harland seemed to pick up that his intentions weren't altogether pure. "She said don't harm the crop fields… but you're going out of your way to chase the cattle from the fields as well. A rather impressive amount of care for a man such as you, Commander. Of course, I wager, you will merely be chasing them onto the road, without regard for where they end up, and in the process, you will be amusing yourself by watching overqualified old men chase sheep around a field."
"Correct. Now do as I say," Vol said, not denying it. It was the bare minimum amount of effort, but it wasn't like he couldn't amuse himself in the process.
