"Vol?" Northy said, asking Vol's opinion.
"No, leave them. We have no room for needless barbarity. It's a waste of time," Vol said. "You go on, Silverfish. Put down the rest of those men. These newcomers are having too much fun with kills that they haven't earned."
"Right you are," Silverfish said, a sadistic smirk on his face. This was a task that a man like him was certain to enjoy.
Little by little, the officers made their way over to Vol, and towards the slaves, making sure that all the resources that they'd captured stayed firmly within their hands. Harland took charge of making an account of what the carriages contained, whilst the newcomers were made to stand guard of the slaves, giving the men that had been in the thick of battle the time they needed to rest.
