The titan pressed the assault, seizing on Vol's surprise. His mace cut through the air, pounding at every molecule in it, forcing a whipping stream of wind in Vol's face before the mace itself finally reached him. Vol was forced to dodge as carefully as he could. It had been a long time since he needed to move so precisely. The first blow swept to the side of his head, and he was made to duck. The second lunged in towards his face, and he twisted his head off to the side, from the centre line. The third strike wasn't even done with the mace at all. With deceptive speed, the titan spun on his heel and delivered a crushing backfist that Vol was once more made to dodge.
"What the hell is this…" Vol muttered. He'd dodged every single one of the attacks, but had been unable to counter attack in the process. His axe hung uselessly by his side.
