Silverfish looked offended by that remark. He pulled a face. "When have I ever let me sword get distracted for coin? I always focus on the battle first, and the coin later. Maybe I battle for the coin… But aye…"
He spoke as if he'd forgotten what his initial point was, and with Silverfish that was usually the case. No one bothered to point out the flaws that had just arisen in his argument. Instead, they pressed him and Tian for more details.
"So? What do you think they'll make him do as punishment?" Vale asked.
"Probably put him in the vanguard," Harland guessed.
