"Odd," Brutus said, frowning in confusion, but he translated it nonetheless. Thornhand had the same question.
"I did not think the magistrates allowed two parties to take out the same quest – not unless it was perilous enough that the odds of success were minimal. But that couldn't be the case for an unranked quest," Thornhand said.
"We suppose there was likely an error because we took two quests out in the same day…" Harland said, sighing at the fact that he was now forced into an explanation.
"Ah… That would begin to explain it," Thornhand said. "I imagine the times that has been done are few enough. I would have thought there were rules against it, to prevent parties from hoarding multiple quests without completing them."
