It was not until they were close enough that Thornhand's face could be made out that the cry went up. The few guards that were on duty rushed back into the interior of the keep to raise the cry. The heavy beam was slot into place on the inside of the two giant wooden doors, firmly sealing them together.
A short time later, Ser Snowcore himself came to the roof at that keep, bleary-eyed from lack of sleep. Something about the staggered way he carried himself told Vol that he had been celebrating until the early hours of the morning.
"Is that… Lady Farseer?" He said, loud enough that he could hear her as he posed his question.
"It is," she said.
