That was time spent walking in the dark, before the light of dawn had yet descended upon the world. The quest had stated that they would begin their travels at daybreak, and so the Sea Serpents had needed to sacrifice a few hours of their sleep in order to meet those demands.
Silverfish complained of that lack of sleep, but he was the only one. Compared to the harshness of the travel that they'd experienced in the weeks that they'd spent under pursuit, a mere few hours of lacking sleep hardly seemed to be something worth taking note of.
"Yarmdon…" Was the merchant's immediate reaction upon seeing them. He gave Penelope a look, but he didn't seem altogether awed by the fact that there was a noble leading their mercenary squadron.
"Yes, they are," Penelope said. "But they are the fiercest fighters that you could ask for. We just did a job for the ship master over in the eastern dock. You can ask him yourself, once you see him."
