"Vol…" Pandora said. "Perhaps now might be a time to reach for more?"
Even his Fragment's voice sounded strained. It had lost its usual playfulness. There was thinness to the air in Earl Drygon's territory. Vol wondered if it was affecting her.
"…If that was possible, you knew I would be doing it already. You're the one that told me that we have pushed as far as we can push," Vol said.
"There might be other ways, things that I haven't thought of," Pandora said helplessly. "You need something else. I can feel it. Grand Fire Mages aren't enough."
"And still, I was lucky to get even those. The stats and stamina I had to sacrifice for them are coming back in a couple of days too though, as are my Skills. I don't have any complaints. Though I guess it would be nice to have had a few more Quests than I've had…" he said.
