It was much the same problem as one encounter with Water Sprite. Vale recovered in an instant, and artfully took her steps back, putting distance between herself and the Fire Sprite. She seemed to have come to the same conclusion as Vol, for she was eyeing the Fire Sprite's body, looking for something solid that could function in the same way as a Water Sprite's core.
She found her answer in the pupils of the Fire Sprite's large oval eyes. Two black balls as dark as coal spun. They were about the only place that the core could be. Even its mouth didn't seem to be a solid place, which begged the question of why it had a mouth at all, and why its flaming teeth were so pointed.
