"It didn't work so well, you say?" Vale repeated, frowning. "My Princess, I know nothing of magic, but do you not think that you are misjudging yourself? It seems to me that you've expanded your domain a frightful amount in an afternoon. Should you not be happier? You too, Lord Commander – neither of you seem overwhelmingly pleased."
"We are both in the pursuit of something," Vol replied. "She wished to reach the element of water, and I wished to summon a Fire Sprite. We would not be satisfied with half-measures."
It was only then that Vale's eyes drifted towards the Flaming Corpse Soldier standing quietly a short distance away. Her eyebrows twitched.
"Another..?" She said. "The two of you… It has barely been two hours, and yet you've made such progress?"
