His idea was a reach, but it was as close as he'd come to attaching fire to any of his summons. Penelope seemed to be of the same line of thought. Skeletons and fire went together far more than flesh and fire did. They weren't exactly codependent properties, but at the very least, they didn't seem to cancel each other out.

SUMMONING COMMENCING! THE VESSEL HAS ORDERED FIVE SKELETONS!
Within a few short moments, Skeletons were dragging themselves up out of the ground. They were the lowliest of Vol's summons, on par with the likes of the goblins, but they were sentient all the same.
"Stay," he told them, pinning them in place. "And quiet." He didn't want to listen to their hissing any more than he wanted to listen to a goblin's screaming.
"D-do you need to me to do anything?" Penelope said, nervously tottering about. "Maybe if I brought the fire closer, it would be easier for you to try?"
