"Vale wouldn't see," Penelope told him. "We're away from the encampment, and she's busy enough already."
The Syndran girl was ankle-deep in the stream, holding a ball of fire in her hand. Vol didn't have the slightest clue what she thought she was doing.
"No, she would," Vol said, quite sure of it. The Ogre had too much of a presence, and it was far too large. He sighed to himself. Already, he had two Death Knights summoned. He could afford to summon one more – his current maximum seemed to be three – for his personal training, and he supposed that he could add in some Wood Sprites to make it more interesting, but still it wouldn't be nearly as exciting as he planned for it to be.
Over his shoulder, he heard the sound of bubbling water, followed by a yelp from Penelope. He was forced to glance behind him, just in time to see the steam beginning to rise.
