"The girl is not wrong," Pandora said. "Which, for some reason, is irritating."
"Hm," Vol said.
"Vol… I have only just realized what I have encouraged you to do," Penelope said, her face blanching. "You would not consider feeding them, just for the sake of keeping them around longer?"
"Why not?" Vol asked.
"It's… It's not right. You're an honourable man, Vol. You bury your allies and cremate your enemies. To allow your monsters to feast upon their remains after the battle, that would go against everything you've built up," Penelope said.
"Oh, that's what you meant. I was considering feeding them something else. You suppose that I supply them with energy when I summon them. I wonder if I can feed them such an energy to keep them around longer. For the likes of Death Knights, that would make my life much easier," Vol said.
"Oh…" Penelope pulled a face, feeling thoroughly foolish. "If that is what you want, then it is definitely worth trying."
