He had two particularly alarming cuts across his chest which demanded immediate attention, but the problem with his ribs underneath wasn't something that could be dismissed or quickly fixed either.
"T-there's one," Penelope declared nervously. The two of them were drenched in sweat from the ordeal, yet there was still another large wound to do. "I can't believe you're still standing… the state of your ribs, and the amount of blood you've lost…"
His chest was already going a dark purple from where Ruddock's glaive and his kicks had caught him, so too were the wounds a deep dark red, despite the tentative washing that Penelope had done beforehand.
"My Princess, you must not strain yourself too hard either," Vale warned. She only had a handful of wounds herself, none of which were as serious as Vol's, so she had opted to wait until afterwards.
