Now he stuck entirely to that Corpse Soldier's back. Wherever it turned, so too did Vagrin, as he sought to hide himself from the view of the others. The creatures clicked in annoyance, a sound like crickets, odd coming from the mouths of such a humanoid monster.
Vagrin slipped his shortsword into a crack between the monster's ribs, and aggression overcame him. He attacked again, and again, and again. Somehow, the creature remained standing.
"Enough!" Vol said, before he could bring it to his knees. Vagrin disengaged immediately, as did the Corpse Soldiers, though one was looking significantly more battered than it had at the start.
