The little man seemed to miss his target on the first attempt, for he simply ran past the surprised man, not giving him another look back. He only turned again when he heard the scream, and the man realized how deeply Silverfish's dagger had bitten him through the leg. He tried to kick his horse into motion, but by then the dagger was striking again, jabbing into his thigh, pulling him from the saddle. The man tried to swing back with his sword in retaliation, but Silverfish ducked the blow ever so easily, and now he had the leeway to finish the job off, throwing him to the floor, and striking him with his knife until he ceased to move.
