"That won't be necessary," the official informed him. "We shall have no trouble finding you."
'Vol couldn't tell whether that remark was a dig, or a sheer statement of fact. Whatever it was, it was said with a considerable amount of certainty, and now that the man was making to leave, Vol was in no position to press him.
By now, the sun was threatening to properly set, and the sky was turning orange. In truth, the offical's timing likely couldn't have been any better.
"Perfect!" Silverfish declared, grinning a crooked-tooth grin. "What do you do now? Drink? Whore?"
Vol gave him a less-than-pleased look. "Don't look so damn excited," he said. "I'm getting something to eat – but I'm not going to bring you with me, if you're acting all excitable."
