Vol didn't need to step in to organize the squadrons, as he thought he might. The men rushed to secure what they thought to be the best places, and that provided enough driving force to get the job done. It resulted in a few forces that were almost solidly made up of groups that had been established before, as well as groups that were a mix of different leftovers, of men that hadn't known each other well enough. Each of them had a Sergeant, fulfilling what had been asked of them.
The remnants of Vol's initial squadron also did the same, though since there were so many Sergeants amongst them, a good few of them were forced to leave and mingle with the newer men. Vol watched, pleased to see the beginnings of different barriers between the different groups begin to dissolve out of necessity.
