He gathered them all together, all hundred and fifty plus of them, right in the centre of the grassy hilltop village. They seemed as tightly packed as the many fluffy white sheep that had been set to graze the thawing lands, now that the snow was finally shifting.
"Time to talk about the raids," Blackbeard announced, ever so casually, as though he hadn't been keeping them in suspense for months on end. A ripple went through his men. Though they'd started to get angry, with being kept in the dark for so long, when the announcement finally came, they couldn't hold onto that anger for long and excitement soon took hold instead.
Moesh stood beside Blackbeard's side, at the centre of the circle of gathered raiders, as Blackbeard began his meeting. The merchant-like raider seemed to be sticking even more closely to Blackbeard now than he had in the past. Vol wasn't quite sure what to make of such closeness.
