He'd merely noted that there were fewer Syndrans in the range of his warhammer than there had been before, as they slowly backed away. He needed to rush forward and crush them, so that he could get his quest reward numbers up. His call to command brought the entire remnants of the Yarmdon army with him.
They bulled forward together, retaining that wedge formation, they stepped over the Syndran bodies, and rushed straight forward, their shields out in front of them, fending the weak jabs of Syndran spears as the men hurried away, still on the back foot.
