Vol sighed, and made to leave. Briefly, he looked down on himself. A fair amount of blood. His jacket and his trousers were the worst of it, as was the blood on his weapon. He wiped those weapons down with the jacket before he went into town, getting rid of the now-bloodied rag off the side of the cliff.
No one questioned him on his way back to the inn. It was dark enough that it was hard to see anything off about the man that carried all those weapons.
Chapter 14 – Oddities
"Morning boss," Harland said, as he joined Vol at the table. It was indeed morning, though Vol felt like he'd hardly slept. When he did fall asleep, there was only one scene that kept replaying in his mind – that of the goblin being summoned.
