"That axe there with the flat head is meant to be a normal axe," Vol said.
"Mm, then it's relative to that… What sort of monstrosity have you gotten that man to agree to? Stubborn as he is, I wouldn't have thought he'd touch work like this… He's said more than once that he won't make something that a man can't use," Uoland mumbled to himself.
"Both Jormvik and Vol agreed that he was strong enough for it. Hence the weapons," Harland explained. "He's looking for something new, that makes better use of his strength."
"That would indeed do it," Uoland mumbled. "Though, from the hammer against his shoulder, I would have thought that to be a better-suited weapon."
"I wish to train in all things," Vol said. "But the axe and the shield are the Yarmdon way. For me, those weapons should be stronger than all others."
"How barbaric," Uoland said dismissively. "And what armour have you been wearing up until now, if you claim that chainmail does not fit you?"
