Chapter 251 - Chapter 251: Nephilim, Part 2

The Boss was terrified, even more so than before. Even as he bore his arms and stared down at the man, the Demon's thoughts flooded with vivid images of his own demise. Just by staring at the sheer volume of energy escaping from the King's body, even he knew that he wasn't ready. "Curse you.....Demon..." He mumbled under his breath, before attempting the first attack, casting through the contracts the Staff Members, albeit with a new appearance: A Decrepit corpse with three holes, two serving as their eyes, one as their mouth. The demon would send such corpses forward, letting them charge ahead to try and attack into the King, yet Gabriel was quick on his feet, disappearing for one moment before his eyes, and re-appearing right behind the Boss, lunging a strike at the back of his neck, a kick that would've cleaved his head off. The Boss would have one of the Staff Members make a hole so that he would sink low enough to evade the deadly blow, before seeing its end result

KRA-COOM!!!

The entire top of the Hotel was cleaved off, the sun shining brighter and brighter, exposing him to such light, as if it was showering him. The clouds parted as the attack continued, his eyes widening in horror. When he looked towards the man to see how he accomplished such, all he could see was a torrent of energy erupting from him, with images hidden within its endless well. Creatures dancing, laughing, playing with one another. Such creatures were small, some tall. Some strong, and some feeble. He was left confused by this imagery until he was able to see the faces properly develop.

They were the Goblins, and some even being of children and adults mingling with one another.

The Boss would try to unleash another attack, this time with a second contract that erupted another building, letting it ram face first towards the King. Gabriel retorted with a balled fist and a direct punch, breaking the foundation and splitting the building in half as a result, ensuring that not even so much as a brick would breach through his body. Such debris quickly shattered and scattered into the wind, mere dust that flew away, giving the Boss another look towards his would-be murderer. He'd try to set up the contract again, creating more staff members and utilizing a Hole to try and throw Gabriel straight towards the earth itself, attempting to bury him alive and force him to remain in such ground. The King, however, merely grabbed the hole by its ring and tossed it towards The Boss like a frisbee, with such efficiency and speed to cut through part of his skin as if it was a sawblade. Being caught off guard, Gabriel would close the gap between the two and went for an all out offense, his mind fixated on pummeling him as much as possible. Such thoughts come to life almost immediately, with one of such punches feeling like five were thrown at once in the same area, being pummeled in a barrage and flung across the area like a ping-pong ball.

Blood came out of his mouth, forcing The Boss to spit it out and try to utilize one of his contracts, targeting towards Gabriel himself. "You clearly didn't heard me, did you? I told you that I hold the power over contracts itself! Has the execution room you saw did NOTHING!?" He'd taunt, forcing the King to stay still, with said King feeling as if something was ready to cut apart his muscles. Yet, despite such hinderances, the King still stared down towards the Boss, unfazed by such threats, imagining himself to survive against such odds and reach him towards his neck. As he took the first step, his body felt like it was being grappled by barbed wire, each fiber of his body being pierced and ripped through, slashed internally and causing his body to bleed from the inside. A second step doubled the pain and hemorrhages further, and the third made the wounds sting even more. The Boss couldn't believe his eyes, watching the madman approach, regardless of how much he was taking. In fact, it's as if he wasn't feeling such pain in the first place, being able to get close enough to strike at his rotund face and still hold the force necessary to nearly cleave off his jaw and hurl it at the streets below them, being blasted down to the ground as a result, having the Boss fix his mouth before trying to fight back.

"And you didn't heard me. I told you...Your life is on my hands. You have destroyed what I loved most of all. You should've remembered it." Gabriel would state, his tinfoil-like crown shining in such light as if it was a genuine piece of strong steel.

The Boss merely backed himself away from the opponent, keeping a close eye on his movements, watching him approach and setting up holes around himself to ensure he can't get a closer distance. "This bastard..." He'd think to himself. "He's survived everything I've thrown at him. His energy is strong enough to practically break apart my very hotel without so much as glancing at it. What the hell is his magic!? It has to be something physical. He's relying on his hands and legs to move around, striking me within close range. Is it a fighting style type of magic? Is it just raw energy into his body to act as a steroid!? Damn it all, which is it!?" He'd be lost in such thoughts before noticing that Gabriel disappeared again. In a split second reaction, he raised as many Staff Members as he can to try and veer him away, yet as the Boss did, he would notice the energy he stockpiled begin to act wildly, preparing an explosion. Desperate, He'd have a Staff Member make a hole to reach him on one of the lower floors, escaping from the incoming blast.

KA-BOOOOOM!!!

The surge quickly blow threw a few floors, leaving behind nothing but rubble as a result, with people leaving the scene, including Natalie, to avoid getting crushed. His sibling began to pray for her brother's safety as she was forced to get out.
