Evelyn stared at her in horror.
"What does that symbol mean?" Ana asked while gesturing to the insignia with two lions at the center of the table.
Evelyn shook her head. "I have never seen that symbol before."
"Then, what do you see? What does it mean? How can you see the future? Where did you get those powers?" Ana continued. There were so many things she wanted to know and yet instead of answers, she was uncovering more questions.
"I lived my entire life in the 5th Ward. When I was your age, I got tired of it. I wanted to know what was beyond the walls." Evelyn whispered, her voice thick with nostalgia
"I got tired of that life. I always asked my parents why we had to live a life that was inferior to those in the capital. Why are we suffering while those in the inner wards could live in luxury?" She continued.
