Ambrose
Because of the "incident" Ambrose, Valerian, and Ana were given the rest of the day off. After Ana left, Valerian also rushed for the door like he was in a hurry, leaving Ambrose alone with Lily. Ambrose was instantly attracted the moment he saw her. She's like a whole galaxy in one person. Looking at her reminded him of the sensation he felt while staring up at the night sky—that overwhelming sense of awe as he gazed at the multitude of stars. Ambrose did his best to calm the butterflies that threatened to break free inside his stomach. He wanted to talk to her more but she left the room soon after.
Masking his disappointment, Ambrose tried to collect his thoughts. Apparently, the Wardens told the teachers it was just a terrorist attack. Such attacks were common in the 5th Ward. It was home to most of the rebel groups that were against the Sanctuary government.
