"We have six days before the competition. Do you have any ideas in mind, sunshine?" Valerian asked as he opened his floating screen and started clicking all over.
Ana plopped on her bed.
Ana flopped onto her bed with a groan, the tension of the day finally catching up to her. The challenge had been thrown, the stakes laid bare, and now, the weight of expectation sat heavy on her shoulders. But instead of succumbing to fear, a familiar spark ignited in her eyes – the spark of a challenge, a puzzle craved for solving.
She had nothing to lose anyway.
"Ideas?" she echoed, tilting her head towards Valerian's flickering screen. "My brain feels like a jumbled box of spare parts right now."
Valerian chuckled, his fingers dancing across the holographic interface. "Understandable. Queencess isn't known for playing fair. Her last invention almost caused a city blackout. Plus she's been doing this since she was a child"
