Twelve seats by the sides of a very long table, one at the end of it; five Goddesses, seven Gods, and one without a known gender. All gathered to pursue one of them to sacrifice themselves to save the planets they have ruled for over a billion years—planets that were sent into chaos. The unbalanced force can only be turned back to normal with the use of a sacrifice worth its value.
(([{ What shall we do? }])) The Goddess that rules the first planet created by the God(dess) of creation spoke in a tone of concern, genuine, and softly she does. She was loyal and kind, which is why she was the first to have her own planet to rule. She was the most favored by the light sitting at the end of the table out of all the twelve mighty beings.
([ We let it be. The Almighty must have plans for them. ]) The God that ruled the twelfth planet spoke in a very rude manner, pointing at the only existence that sits at the end of the very long table.
([({ How dare you?!! })]) The majority of the Gods and Goddesses stood up and shouted, putting the God that ruled the twelfth planet in their place—the weakest of them all.
{([{ Enough. }])} The almighty existence that sits at the end of the table stood up, making the other beings that stood up take a seat back in awe. ([{ I am ashamed to speak of how this situation is not under my control and am unable to stop this. }])} The Almighty added. {([{ ... }])} They opened their unseen lips but were unable to utter a syllable.
They were all quiet. Not pondering anything, rather, blaming each other for not volunteering to sacrifice themselves, a selfish feeling that grows every second finally showed its use.
{([{ This is air... Stuck in a very tight space. }])} The almighty existence sighed; air flowed and stopped the time of every world he created (He meant that the conversation is going nowhere, same as air in a tightly-lidded bottle). Everyone was quiet in the process because most of them knew what was going to happen next. {([{ Sagia, my first child. Let the dove that once and forever treasured, make a treasure. }])} The voice nearly fading a whiffed echoed in the air, slowly disappearing its presence. With that, The existence of an Almighty being is seen... nevermore.
(([{ No! What could it be that you are thinking of doing!? }])) The Goddess of the first planet, Sagia, bawled in distress as she watched the unstoppable almighty existence do what it wants—sacrifice himself.
{([{ Foray. }])}
There was no darkness that swallowed them whole, but the feeling of emptiness made them feel they are devoured by one. They all stopped living for a second and came back to life, like a zombie that shall live forever but will forever lose their awareness, blinded by nothingness.
Then laughter they hear. The feeling of fear, The pain they bear, And love they share, Stop altogether.
They all dispersed. The space they used to meet each other, as well as the place they used to be, was all gone forever. They all were forcefully returned to the planets they ruled. Even still, bad things did not happen without a little happiness in exchange. The worlds/planets they ruled were all back to normal, returning back by the time chaos and unbalanced forces were no more than a person's dilution.
They felt regret for more than one reason. There was a strong surge of feeling, the feeling of losing what they most deemed important.
Just as humans, they have no choice but to go on forward for the ones that needed them, no time for the ones that lost everything for them, merely forgotten. And finally, adapted to the new environment—a place where one was once a part of, gone.
Even so, soon after all those commotions, Sagia chose to descend into the world she ruled, experiencing what it is like to be human, after a few thousand years. Realizing that being a human child was no different from the twelve of them; raised, cared, loved, scolded, punished, cherished, and so had the things inherited from/by the God(dess) of creation, their only parent.
She cried, between two buildings that hid her crying face that even the darkness of night helped to hide, soon, her small sniffles were heard, and that very person that heard her, subconsciously put her in his embrace and spoken the words:
" It must be hard."
" Shout if you must."
" No need to suppress it."
" Let it go."
" I can't promise that everything will be fine,"
" But I promise that you will be fine." The man completed his soft whispers, pressing the crying Goddess to his bosom, calming her by letting her hear his strangely calm heartbeats. Soon, the Goddess calmed down, and so did the calm heartbeats of the man stopped; it fiercely palpitates, strangely enough, his cheeks got hotter as the moon stopped hiding from the clouds and shone its dim light, revealing the beauty in front of him. He gave her a passionate kiss, and she didn't fight back; it was new for her, but her heartbeat that wants to jump out of her chest wants more.
" Shit... I think I'm in love." He cursed, looking at the Goddess like a hungry predator, savoring the sight of his prey, not wanting her to get hurt, yet has this urge to make her cry more. " You're now mine." He claimed her to be his.
" Pardon? You are mine." She said honestly, innocently. It was true, considering that she rules the world they are in, it is only natural that everything inside the said world is hers.
" Oho~" the man looked intrigued by her response with her innocent eyes staring right at his. He shivered. Like an asshole as he is, he kidnapped the Goddess and made her his without further ado. He carried her like a sack of potatoes on his shoulder. Soon, the Goddess felt pain from being carried like dead meat; she flew. The guy, seeing what happened, had more interest in her even more.
"It pains me. May I know where we are going?" The Goddess asked, floating in the air beside the nameless man as he walked, tilting her head to the left as she stared more carefully at him. As she looked more closely, she could see dark circles under his eyes. "You look very tired, are you not feeling well?" She asked in concern. Yes, she is naive.
"If I tell you that you can help me, will you help?" He asked, smirking. Scheming something bad, but still feeling guilty for it without it actually happening yet.
"Of course!" The naive Goddess agreed, putting a smile on the man's face with her answer.
"Seriously... I'm a bad person though, are you still alright with helping me?" He asked.
"I... Am bad too." She said, recalling what they did to the only parent the twelve of them knew of, the one that treated them with care, and the one that they treated as their scapegoat.
Reaching where he parked his car with his 'dogs', he called out everyone and said:
"I found a wife!" He looked quite happy and childish that his 'dogs' won't believe who he was.
"Oi, fucker. If you're try'na scam someone, go find someone who'd actually believe ya, ha!?." They all said without failing to synchronize, except, of course, his best friend who he now uses as his personal secretary.
"Oi, Sherrone, I once accepted that you're gay, but I won't accept someone who's already mad to the point he's gonna marry a fucking ghost!." Rae demeaned.
"But that was when we were in high school! I thought I probably loved you at that time, lol. " Sherrone, the man that's crazy enough to succeed in seducing a Goddess, said in a tone of someone completely into his own kind(gay) as he laughed hysterically. " She floats, isn't she great!?" Sherrone said, putting up his hands to emphasize how amazing she is, floating on air. Sherrone looked at the 'dogs' behind them. His eyes were crazed and out of focus from their numbers. Looking at him, his 'dogs' knew from instinct that that person is their crazy boss indeed.
"Sorry ma'am, but please haunt someone else." Rae bowed to the Goddess. The Goddess knew then that flying means weird, so she landed and bowed back at Rae.
"No need to be cautious; I am here to help my child." The naive Goddess said, unintentionally putting a frown on Sherrone's face. Sherrone was not happy with her words, not one bit. But the guys behind them laughed in secrecy.
